About Mike
This ministry grows out of my own time on the road and the calling God placed on my life.
I’m a husband, father, veteran, and former OTR driver who knows exactly what it’s like to see the world through a bug-spattered windshield. My calling to support the trucking community arrived unexpectedly one December morning, and it’s been my mission ever since to offer encouragement to those who keep our country moving.
I spent ten years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, learning the grit and resilience required to succeed in demanding, often isolating environments. Later, my eighteen months driving OTR for a local carrier gave me a firsthand education in the long hours, stress, and unique loneliness of the road.
Today, I serve as a deacon and teacher in my local church, blending my heart for ministry with my background in business and digital communication. At Diesel Devotional, I’m dedicated to creating practical, faith-filled content for drivers, meeting you exactly where you are—one mile at a time.
My mission is simple: to 1) offer presence, 2) prayer, and 3) biblical encouragement to the truck drivers moving through my community and those connecting with me online, ensuring they know they are seen by God and valued in their calling.
